Kalpavriksham Trust continues its mission to fight cancer through awareness, prevention, and early detection. During Week #44 (27th October to 2nd November 2025), the Trust successfully organized five impactful Cancer Awareness Talks, reaching a total of 280 beneficiaries across Thiruvallur district and beyond.
Each session under Project Shakthi focused on educating women and communities about the importance of early detection, mammogram and Pap smear screenings, HPV vaccination, and adopting healthy lifestyle habits to reduce cancer risks.
27th Oct 2025 – Indira Medical College, Pandur, Thiruvallur
Over 120 participants actively engaged in understanding the importance of early detection and preventive care.
30th Oct 2025 – Pandeeshwaram Village, Thiruvallur
A close-knit session for 20 beneficiaries, empowering rural women with practical awareness on breast and cervical cancer.
31st Oct 2025 – Gandhi Community College, Pattabiram
Around 80 students participated in an interactive talk promoting healthy habits and cancer screening.
31st Oct 2025 – LegacyMed Healthcare Pvt Ltd
A workplace awareness session reaching 40 employees, emphasizing preventive health and self-examination.
1st Nov 2025 – Social Scape (Online Session)
A digital outreach initiative that connected 20 participants, proving that awareness knows no boundaries.
These programs were enriched with visual presentations, real-life case insights, and motivational discussions led by Dr. M. Banu Priya, Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist, and the dedicated Kalpavriksham Trust team.
